Need a grab-and-go snack that actually fuels you? These no-bake honey energy balls come together in one bowl, keep for a week, and beat any packaged bar. Just three core ingredients - here's the recipe.
Why these work
Oats give slow-release carbs, nut butter adds protein and healthy fats, and raw honey binds it all together with a clean, natural sweetness and quick energy. Perfect before a workout, as an afternoon pick-me-up, or a lunchbox treat.
3-Ingredient No-Bake Honey Energy Balls
Makes ~12 balls . 10 minutes + chill
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup raw honey - we use American Pure Honey (Wild Flower)
- Optional add-ins: chia seeds, dark chocolate chips, shredded coconut, or a spoon of your favorite herbal honey
Method
- Mix everything in a bowl until it forms a sticky dough. If too wet, add more oats; if too dry, add a touch more honey.
- Roll into bite-size balls.
- Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Make them functional
Swap in a spoonful of Shilajit Honey or Ashwagandha Honey for part of the honey to turn these into a functional daily snack. Start with quality raw honey as your base - it makes all the difference.
