Flavour, use & storage
Flavour profile
Bitter and earthy with a sweet-woody aftertaste and a faint liquorice note. The bitterness arrives first and the sweetness follows. Strong enough that most people take it in a flavoured drink rather than plain water.
How to use
Stir a quarter teaspoon into hot tea, broth or a smoothie. Traditionally taken in the morning or early afternoon rather than the evening, as some people find it stimulating. Often cycled: several weeks on, then a break.
How to store
Airtight, cool and dry, away from sunlight.

Questions about Ginseng Powder
Which ginseng is this?
Panax ginseng, often called Asian or Korean ginseng. It is a different plant from American ginseng, and from Siberian ginseng, which is not a true ginseng at all.
Morning or evening?
Morning or early afternoon. Some people find it stimulating enough to interfere with sleep if taken late in the day.
Should I cycle it?
It is traditionally taken in courses, several weeks on then a break, rather than continuously. Speak to your doctor about what suits you.
What sizes does it come in?
4 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz. The herb is identical in every size — only the quantity in the pouch changes.
How is it packed?
By hand, in small batches, at our facility in Edison, New Jersey. One ingredient and nothing else — no fillers, flow agents or anti‑caking additives. The full ingredient list is printed on the pouch.
How should I store it?
Airtight, cool and dry, away from sunlight.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping then takes 3–5 business days and is free on every order, with no minimum. Express is available at checkout. We ship across the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. See our shipping policy for full details.
